• ThermalStar Laminated Wall Insulation (LWI) has an integrated film facer, which serves as a code compliant water resistive barrier (WRB) when properly flashed and taped, saving on time and labor.
• Installing ThermalStar LWI as continuous exterior insulation works to reduce thermal bridging and provides a stable, long-term R-value over the life of the structure.
• With an integrated WRB and reduced thermal bridging, exterior wall framing will be more dimensionally stable resulting in fewer call-backs to repair interior finishes.
• ThermalStar LWI is available in fanfold thicknesses of 3/8” and 1/2”, in addition to multiple standard sheet thicknesses, ranging from 3/4” to 3”.
